Gardiner is known for its friendly and welcoming community. With a wave of new residents from recent home sales in the area, the Gardiner Main Street Promotions Team wanted to personally welcome the newcomers to the community. The Gardiner Greeters committee was formed in 2021 to help in these efforts.
Our friendly group of volunteers greets residents of newly sold homes in Gardiner with a welcome basket of items from around town along with menus and other materials. The group helps newcomers be more informed about the resources, groups and businesses within our community and invites them to attend upcoming events.
Greeters Wanted!
We’re growing our friendly neighbor movement in 2022. Volunteers are needed to team up with one of our Greeters as they deliver welcome packets! It’s more fun and easier with two people doing the job together. Our greeters will work with you to find a time and neighborhood that works for you. Greeters also bring freshly baked items with them in their deliveries, if you would like to help in our baking efforts, please be in touch.
