To maintain a healthy, vibrant community, Gardiner Main Street is proud to present the Gift of Gardiner, a gift check program that allows you to support local, independent merchants while enjoying the wonderful ambiance of our beautiful, historic Downtown. Enjoy a one-of-a-kind shopping experience from one of the 30+ participating Gardiner businesses while supporting the local economy.

Where to Purchase:

Gift of Gardiner certificates are available for purchase inside the Camden National Bank Gardiner branch at 190 Water Street during normal business hours:

Monday-Thursday: 8:30am – 4pm

Friday: 8:30am – 5pm

Saturday: 9am – 12pm.

Checks are available in the amount of $20 only. Gift checks will include a list of participating merchants, along with guidelines for using.

How to Use:

Present the $20 Gift of Gardiner certificate when making a purchase at a participating Gardiner merchant, who have agreed to participate in the Gift if Gardiner program.

Gift of Gardiner gift checks are valid for one year from the date of issue. After that time, the funds will become a donation for Gardiner Main Street to complete its charitable mission.

Merchant Information:

Accepting the Gift of Gardiner as form of payment is easy! Simply fill in your merchant name in the pay to the order of line and apply $20 towards the sale. You may then deposit the checks into any bank account just like any personal or cashiers’ check.

Unlike gift certificates, this gift check can only be used for the entire amount. If the transaction total is less than the $20 check(s), the difference is given as cash back to the customer.
