The Great Cobbossee Watershed Cleanup

Celebrate Earth Day & Help Clean Up Your Community

Join Gardiner Main Street, the Boys & Girls Club of Kennebec Valley, Upstream, Friends of Cobbossee Watershed, Kennebec Land Trust, Kennebec Valley Chapter Trout, Gardiner Rotary and Kiwanis clubs as we celebrate  Earth Day and The Great Cobbossee Watershed Clean-Up!

Volunteers will be downtown at the Bridge Street bridge at 8:00am ready to send cleanup volunteers to 13 nearby locations.

construction materials: 1,126 pieces

clothes and shoes: 37
cigarette butts: 10,586
fishing debris: 55
holiday wreaths from 9 cemeteries
oddball finds: oscillating fan, 2 homeless camps, a dumping site along the stream, 4 tires, cut leather pieces embedded in the stream behind where the old shoe factory was located in Gardiner.
