Start your engines! The Great Race is coming back to Gardiner, ME on June 30th!

Join the fun as the GREAT RACE crosses the finish line on Water Street in Gardiner, Maine after nine days and 2,300 miles! This is a FREE event, with a family-friendly atmosphere, so bring the kids and check out more than 140 classic cars and trucks (1974 and earlier) as they take the checkered flag.

You’ll have easy access to the cars, drivers and navigators. In some cases, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see cars that are more than 100 years old, competing in this long-distance rally. There are also high-end sports cars, muscle cars, classics and hot rods. The Great Race only be in town for a short time, so don’t miss your chance to check out the old cars! This is where we’ll crown the GRAND CHAMPION of the 2024 Great Race!

Just 6 years ago, the City of Gardiner, Maine was just a stop on the way to the finish line–this year it is the final destination!!

Gardiner Main Street is going to be the place to be! Businesses will once again be opening their doors to attendees, volunteers, families, and participants. There will be food trucks, retail shops, restaurants, and activities like theatre, music, and a car show!
